Duas for Difficulties, Ism Adham-'Allah’s Greatest Name' and Secrets of Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum

Bismillahi Babuna

Prophetic Supplication for Difficulties and
Ism Adham-Allah’s Greatest Name and
– secrets of
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum in dua

Sunnah Dua-Supplication for Difficulties, Distress, stressful trials
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-Rahmatika astagheeth

Anas ibn Malik (Allah be pleased with him) relates that if any distress befell the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), he would say: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-Rahmatika astagheeth (‘O Living, O Sustaining, in Your Mercy I seek relief!’).

The Living (al-Hayy) is the One who alone has absolute, independent life. The Sustaining (al-Qayyum) is the One who alone needs none to sustain Him, and who sustains all things at all times, in every way. Relief (istighatha) is seeking assistance and salvation from danger or distress.

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas'ood (Radhiallaahu Anhu) narrated that whenever Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) used to be afflicted in any worry or concern, stressful trial, he used to recite the following supplication, 'Yaa Hayy Yaa Qayyoom birahmatika astagheeth.' (Mustadrak al-Haakim vol.1 pg.509; Shu'ubul Iemaan of Imaam Bayhaqi Hadith No.:10231) Also see Kitaabud Du'aa of Imaam Tabrani pg.47 and Majmauz zawaaid vol.10 pg.147

Another Dua for Ease Prophet Muhammad would also say:
Transliteration: Allahumma laa sahla illaa maa ja`altahu sahlan, wa anta taj`alul-hazna idhaa shi' ta sahlan.

Translation: Oh Allah, there is nothing made easy except what you make easy, and you make the difficult easy, if you wish. (Ibn Hibban and Ibn As-Sunni)

Ism Adham-Allah’s Greatest Name or hidden name

I was just asked a question which i will share with you all, were is Ism Adham-Allah’s Greatest Name or hidden name, in the Quran, when Allah’s greatest name is used in supplications by Allah He grants the prayer-dua, it’s said (from many Hadith) it is found in three Surahs in the Quran:

Surah Baqarah, Surah Ali-Imran and Surah Ta-Ha

1. This is referring to the verse; Allahu La ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum-(1st line of Ayatul Kuris).

2. Surah Baqarah, Alif Laam Meem - Allahu La ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum

3. Surah Ale-Imran and Wa Anatil Wujoohu Lil Hayyil Qayyumi in Surah Ta-Ha.

The Virtues of Ayatul Kursi-(Verse of the Throne)

"Whoever recites Aayatul Kursi after every obligatory prayer nothing except death prevents him from entering heaven." (That is say that the only thing that is preventing him from entering heaven is death. When it will come, he will go straight into paradise). Abdur Rahman ibn Awf radiyallahu anhu used to enter his house, he used to recite Aayatul Kursi in all four corners of the house, to keep satan away.

A piece of extra info which has come to my heart if there is a jinn in that house or evil thing you MUST leave either the door open or window open as they need an exit to leave the house when blowing into the four corners of the house also  blowing isn’t mentioned but that also needs to be done in each corner  too.

So you need to read in each main corner of the house Ayatul Kursi and blow in all 4 corners and leave a window for the thing to escape the house otherwise it will be trapped and may cause more trouble.

Also some secrets of reading at Night Ten verses Surah Baqarah

"Whoever prays at night ten verses of Surah Baqarah the devil will not come to that house until morning: Its first four verses, the Throne and the two verses following it and its last three verses, the first being lillahi maa fis samaawaati."

"Allah Ta’ala finished Surah Baqarah with two verses which I have been given from His treasure which is under the Throne; so learn them and teach them to your women-folk for they are a blessing, a means of approach (to Allah Ta’ala) and a supplication."

Abu Hurairah reported that whenever the Prophet, peace be upon him, was faced with a serious difficulty, he would raise his head to the sky and supplicate, "Subhan-Allah al-'Azim (glory be to Allah, the Mighty)." And when he implored seriously and strongly, he would say "Ya Hayyu, Ya Qayyum" (O Ever-Living One, O Self-Existing One).(Hadith of Tirmidhi)

Dhikr of reviving the Heart: “Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, la ilaha illa ant”
A saying of Ahmad b. Taymiyya which his student Muhammad b. al-Qayyim (Allah have mercy on both of them) relates in two of his books: Madarij al-Salikin and Tariq al-Hijratayn, in which he says that reciting “Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, la ilaha illa antevery day 40 times after praying the Sunnah of Fajr and before the Fard “revives the heart” and “has an astonishing effect respectively.

Another Prophetic Supplication used by Prophet Yunus (a.s) for Trials Called Ayatul Cream or the Verse of Distress.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The supplication of my brother Dhun Nun (Yunus, peace be upon him), who called on Allah while in the whale’s belly: ‘There is no deity but You. Glory be to You! Verily, I have been among the wrongdoers’ (Quran 21:87) – no Muslim person says it, for any situation whatsoever, except that Allah Most High answers his call.” [Tirmidhi]

La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu mina z-zalimin.
There is no deity but You. Glory be to You! Verily, I have been among the wrongdoers

Combining the secret of Dua of reviving the heart and Ayatual Cream as used by Qadiri-Noshahi tariqah: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum with  La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu mina z-zalimin.

Powerful Supplication for Trials, facing serious difficulties stress or afflicted in any worry or concern From the Secrets of Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum;
This is a Hidden Qadiri-Noshahi Dua which I will share never ever before posted anyway were on the internet.

Note arabic typo-
bi-haqqi
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum bi-haqqi La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zalimin
.
O Ever-Living, Oh Self-Existing for the sake of There is no deity but You. Glory be to You! Verily, I have been among the wrongdoers.

Litany of Al-Tirmidhi for "Protection of Faith"
Entreating the Divine between the Sunna and Fard of the Fajr Prayer

Ya Hayyu ya Qayyumu, ya Badi’as samawati wal ardi, ya dhal-Jalali wal Ikrami (Thrice)
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting! O Primal Origin of the Heavens and the Earth! O Possessor of Majesty and Honour!

O Allah, by the sanctity of Imam Hasan, his brother [i.e. Imam Husain], his grandfather [i.e. Prophet Muhammad, Allah bless him and give him peace], his father [i.e. Imam Ali], his mother [i.e. Lady Fatima], and his progeny – deliver me from the sorrow that I am in. O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting! O Possessor of Majesty and Honour! I beg You to revive my heart with the light of mystical intuitive knowledge of spiritual truth [ma’rifa], O Allah! O Allah! O Allah! O Essence of Mercy!

As for mentioning ya dhal-Jalali wal Ikram this is a sunnah recite it abundantly.

 Some extra notes:
Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom used in forgivness dua of  Sidi Ahmed ibn Idrisi's dua Istighfar al-Kabir-"The Magnificent Forgiveness"

Transliteration of Istighfar al Kabir:
Astaghfirullahal 'azim alladhi la ilaha illa hu, al-hayy al-qayyum
ghaffar adh-dhunubi, dhal-jalali wal-ikram
min adh-dhanbilladhi a'lam wa min adh-dhanbilladhi la a'lam
'adada ma ahat a bihil 'ilmu wa ahsahul kitabu wa khattahul qalamu
wa 'adada ma awj adat-hul qudratu wa khassasat-hul iradatu wa midada kalimatillah
kama yanbaghi li-jalali wajhi Rabbina wa jamalihi wa kamali hi wa kama yuhibbu Rabbuna wa yarda.

Translation of Istighfar al Kabir:
I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Great, there is no god save He, the Living, Sustainer of Life, the Forgiver of sins, the Majestic and Generous. And I turn to Him in repentance from all acts of disobedience, and all sins and offenses. From every sin that I have committed intentionally and unintentionally, openly and in secret, in word and deed. In my every action and my every stillness, my every thought and my every breath, always and forever and eternally. From the sin that I am aware of and the sin that I am unaware of. To the number of all things contained in His knowledge, registered in the Book, written down by the Pen, and to the number of all that His omnipotence has created, and His will chosen, and as much as the ink of Allah’s words. As it befits the Majesty of the Face of Allah, and His Beauty and Perfection, and as our Lord wishes and as He pleases.

Its Merits:
Shaykh Ahmad ibn Idris wrote about the Istighfar al Kabir: “I sent it to one of the awliya-(Saints), so he wrote me a letter in which he said: ‘I read the istighfar that you sent me one time  and Allah forgave me allmy sins so that nothing of them remained.’ And this means that he knows that Allah forgave him, a real and true knowledge, otherwise how could he have said: ‘He forgave me’?

The salawat above of Shaykh Ahmad ibn Idris called "Istighfar al Kabir-The Magnificent Forgiveness" giving taught to him by Sayyid Al-Khidr and this happen Shaykh Ahmad ibn Idris, may Allah be pleased with him, had a meeting in the waking state, with the Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam, and al-Khidir, alayhi assalam. The Prophet said to al-Khidir: “Ya Khidir: teach him that which joins together all of the dhikrs, salawat, and prayers for forgiveness of sins, and is superior in reward, larger in number, more exalted in worth, and greater in obtaining assistance.”

Al-Khidir, alayhi assalam, said: “What is that, oh Prophet of Allah?” And so the Prophet, alayhi assalatu wassalam, taught him the Idrisi Tahlil, the Salaat Azeemiyya, and the Istighfar al-Kabir".

Here i have only mentioned Istighfar al-Kabir as for the Idrisi Tahlil, the Salaat Azeemiyya i will mention that in another post with full commentary too, the above starts at the beginning asking Allahs Forgiveness and the salawat below known as salawat Uwais, Allah is sought for this forgiveness through the same line but it appears at the end of salawat Uwais.

Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom used in salawat

Salawat with Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom linked to Sayyidi Uwais Qarni:

Allaahumma Salli 'alaa Sayyidinaa Muhammadiun Wa Aalihee Wa'itratihee be 'Adadi Kulli Ma' loomillaka Astaghfirullaa Halladhi La ilaahaa illaa huwal Hayyul Qayyoomu Wa Atoobu ilaih. Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom.

Meaning: Oh Allah, bestow Your Choicest Blessings upon our Master Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) and upon his extended family and his progeny according to the number of all things known to You. I seek the forgiveness of the One but for whom there is no God, The Truly and Perfectly Alive and The Self Sustained and I turn to Him with repentance. O The Truly and Perfectly Alive O The Self Sustained.

It is highly recommended that those who seek the love and closeness to the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) make it mandatory upon themselves to recite this Durood Shareef according to their capacity and the time they have available. For instance at least 11 times after each Salat. It should be recited more frequently after Isha, Tahajjud and Fajr. 100, 300, 500 times or even more. Remember though, once the frequency is fixed, be steadfast upon it!Taken from - from Shaykh Hazrat Abu Anees Sufi Muhammad Barkat Ali.

Giving Sadaqah will help with Duas being answered, Sins be erased and sicknesses are sometimes due to sins; Showing gratitude is sunnah and Allah loves those slaves who shows gratitude; gratitude earns more (ziyada) favours from Allah, Allah promises increased favours for those who are grateful and (hates misers see hadith below) "And when your Lord proclaimed: "If you are thankful, I will give you more"(14:7) and "We shall reward those who are thankful" (3:45)  Allah informs us that one of Satans primary objectives is to prevent humans from being grateful. So show you  support be Thankful for these Duas and Khidma and take more rewards from Allah by Helping and Support “The Sufi Healing Project” through Uns Foundation and take the barakah of this site and all the people who read its duas too through Sadaqah Jariyah.

Giving a small amount of sadaqah monthly is continuous giving which is most beloved deed before Allah. Everyday 70 problems come our way and Sadaqah is a shield to protect yourself and your family. The most beloved deed before Allah is that which is continuous, even if it is little. The constant giving of a little is said to please Allah more than the occasional gift of a lot. So if it’s in your means to donate a small amount of £11 or more a month and Support “The Sufi Healing Project” through Uns Foundation.

Know about the shield of giving: "Give Sadaqah without delay, for it stands in the way of problems/calamities."(Tirmidhi) it says 70 problems that is one is shielded from 70 problems with just a small amount of sadaqah.

Saqaqah washes your sins away: "Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire." (Tirmidhi) "Sadaqah appeases-(To satisfy or relieve) the Lord’s anger and averts an evil death." (Tirmidhi)

The Shade of Sadaqah: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his Sadaqah.” (Tirmidhi)  "The generous man is near Allah, near paradise, near men and far from hell, but the miserly man is far from Allah, far from paradise, far from men and near hell. Indeed, an ignorant man who is generous is dearer to Allah than a worshipper who is miserly."(Tirmidhi)

Narrated Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “There is no disease that Allah has sent down except that He also has sent down its treatment.” [The Book of Medicine: Sahih Bukhari] Allah has never created a disease but created its treatment, that is known by some people and unknown to others, except death. Some Sufic method Duas for Marriage

Bismillahi Babuna
Some Sufic method Duas for Marriage

Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi said Dua to recite while seeking Marriage for men and Women, There are two Duas one is for the Male to recite and the other is for a female to recite:

Below this is the Dua for a Male to recite:

Rabbi innee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeerun

"My Lord! truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!"

The above Dua was made by Musa (.a.s) while in exile, he was in his utmost point of need, of isolation, of loneliness At that time of depression, He reached out to Allah, to his Lord and said the above.
Read this 100 times a day and when you find her stop reading it.

Below this is the Dua for a Female to recite:
Females should recite for a husband the whole of Sura dhuha (sura 93) 11 times before zenith. Again Ideally after Fajr.

Waaldduha
Waallayli itha saja
Ma waddaAAaka rabbuka wama qala
Walalakhiratu khayrun laka mina aloola
Walasawfa yuAAteeka rabbuka fatarda
Alam yajidka yateeman faawa
Wawajadaka dallan fahada
Wawajadaka AAailan faaghna
Faamma alyateema fala taqhar
Waamma alssaila fala tanhar
Waamma biniAAmati rabbika fahaddith

By the Glorious Morning Light,
And by the Night when it is still,-
Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased.
And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present.
And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased.
Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)?
And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance.
And He found thee in need, and made thee independent.
Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness,
Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard);
But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim!

Extra: Comments, Notes and Duas by - Muhammad Sajad Ali

Note: Read the above dua with the Niyyah of finding a wife or husband and the Best time is at Fajr. As Fajr is when Dunya Rizq or needs and it gives flow or Madat-Help of Dunya Support or needs. While making Dhikr at Asr gives rise to the Rizq of Spiritual Openings of the Heart and it gives flow or Madat-Help of Akhira Support or needs, As Sayyidun Adam was created at Asr time.

From Imam Haddad ... be extremely careful to always keep alive the periods between the dawn–fajr and sunrise-(salat al-Ishraq is 15mins after is sunrise), and between the afternoon prayer-‘Asr and Maghirb-sunset for these are noble times where those servants  who turn to Allah receive the flow of assistance-(Madaad or madaat).

The time following the dawn prayer-Fajr when kept alive, has a powerful and specific effect in attracting material provision-Riqz, whereas, the time following the afternoon prayer-‘Asr if kept alive, has the powerful effect in attracting provision-Rizq for the heart-Rizq (also means knowledge). Taken from Imam Haddad’s book ‘Two treatises mutual Reminding and Good Manners’ in section from Good Manners Chapter 8’.

==========================
By Muhammad Sajad Ali

Method 1. Read Surah Yasin and making Waseelah dua for marriage
If a single male or female is looking to get married my Naseeha is they should first make and focus on a real niyyah for marriage it sounds strange but many people dont focus when making niyyah - (read my article about Spiritual Power of Niyyah-Intention; Understanding the Psychological Impact) and focus on it or any other need-(hajaat) to be fulfilled and then read Surah Yasin at Fajr for 70 Needs are fulfilled a day when Surah Ya-sin is read at Fajr and worldly needs are meet. Understand Marriage is  Half your Deen and the biggest worldly need is Marriage. Below are notes on the benefits of reading Surah Ya-sin;

Start with Salawat Shaeef either 1, 3, or 11 times of these its best to recite 11 times salawat shareef for a particular need to be fulfilled normally inshallah, of the salawats I suggest you use Salawat Fatih-(The Opener/Victory) for this purpose also other salawat that may be used and effective are Salawat Tunjina. Salawat Tunijina is known as the Salawat Of Relief and another salawat that can be used is the famous Salawat Naariyah the salawat of Fire known to help those in need as part of the salawat says;..."O Allah! Bestow complete blessings and perfect peace on Sayyidina Muhammad and for his sake may all our difficulties be removed, all calamities and agonies prevented all needs fulfilled; all our cherished desires obtained".
The method of a classical sufi style dua is, read you;
1. 11 times Salawat Fatih
2. and then Surah Yasin
3. and then 11 times Salawat Fatih
4. dua below and then close as surah al-Fatiha
Short dua of Waseelah-(intercession so duas are answered surely) Bismi'llahir-Rahmanir-Rahim wa hamduillahi rabbil 'alameen.Ya Allah i send all the Thawab-(rewards) of my reciting to the soul of Rasul-lillah (peace be upon him), sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali Karam wajuh.
all the Sahabah-ikram, Ahli-Bayt, Uwais Qarni, Ta' bieen and Tab- Ta' bieen.
of nuqaba, nujaba, the fortify Abdals , awtad, aqtab,
Sidi Abbdal-Qadir Jilani,
Sidi Abu Madyan Ghawth,
Sidi Ibn Mashishi,
Sidi Abu Hasan Shadhili
(..mention any other great sufi master here if you like...by name)
For the Ghawth of this time.
Help Me find my spouse help.
Close with With Surah Al-Fatiha

Method 2 Surah Ikhlas 1,000 times and make Dua for marriage

The manner of Recite is; read Surah Ikhlas 1,000 times with Bismillah and make above dua Short dua of Waseelah and ask for your needs or until your spouse comes or an invitation of marriage suddenly appears. You may also add or combine Method 1, Method 2, Method 3 and Method 4/5 or any of the other methods if you wish and also add the 1st dua as mentioned by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi at the very top of this article.

It is said that the one who Recites Surah Ikhlas 1,000 times will not die unless he sees his place in Jannah.

Reciting Surah Ikhlas 100 times, all his sins for the past 25 years are forgiven-(minor sins), constant recitation of this Surah will help keep the heart sincere inshallah, and Allah will also increase ur Rizq, to gain abundant wealth inshAllah. (except the sins of killing an innocent person or usurping the property of people).

Recite Ikhlas 100 Times and Enter Paradise to Your Right.

Anas (R) has reported the saying of Rasulallah(S) that, "If anyone who is about to sleep on his bed lies on his right side, then recited Al-Ikhlas 100 times, Allah will say to him on the Day of the resurrection, 'My slave, enter Paradise to your right side.'" (Tirmidhi)

Reciting Surah Ikhlas recited 200 times daily gets forgiveness of 50 years of sins-(minor); but, if he has to pay loan to anyone, that will not be forgiven." and Allah will grant him 1500 Rewards (At-Tirmidhi and Darami)

“Sins of that who recites 1,000 Ikhlas with basmala are forgiven and his dua (pray) is accepted.”

“Whoever recites Surah Ikhlas 1,000 times between the afternoon and evening on the day of Arafa, Allah bestowes him whatever he wishes.”

Method 3: read dua: Ya Badi'ul 'ajaaibi bil khayri ya badi'u 1,200 times a day for 12-21 days or more

Ya Badi'ul 'ajaaibi bil khayri ya badi'u
‘O Unique Originator of goodness, O Unique Originator"

This dua has been tried and tested and used by our pious predecessors for the fulfilment of any important task or need

the manner of reading is:
1. Read Salawaat 11 times.
3. Ask Allah for your wish or dua and then says: Ya Badi'ul 'ajaaibi bil khayri ya badi'u (read 1200 times)
3. Read Salawaat 11 times.

(keep reciting Ya Badi'ul 'ajaaibi bil khayri ya badi'u, 1,200 times a day for 12 to 21 days and inshallah a sign will happen, this dua is recited to fulfilled a wish or need or anyone wishing for a practical task to be accomplished and can be used for marriage too)

The Name - Ya-Badi‘u is From The 99 Holy Names of Allah:
its meaning: Wonderful Originator, Unprecedented and Incomparable Inventor, Absolute Cause, The Deviser.
. The Wonderful Originator
. The Unprecedented and Incomparable Inventor
. The Absolute Cause
. The marvellous One who originates, commences, invents and creates all that exists, without any model or material
. The One whose incomparable will-power first brings into existence all of the unique and amazing creation without any similarity to anything else that has ever existed
. The One who creates in wonderful, awesome, amazingly original ways that have no precedent whatsoever.

Method 4 Sufic Method for helping you Muslim friends get marriage.

This method of Dua is a sufic one, you do the above Method 1 and Method 2 BUT you dont make Dua foryourself instead you focus your duas ONLY for your singleton friends and DONT mention yourself in dua. Its known when you make duas for others the Angels say "Ameen and the same for you may Allah give you more" meaning the Angels are doing dua for you to get married but they also say and More.

Method 5 - Give Sadaqah for marriage

Just like Method 4 which is making Dua for someone else to get married and hoping the rewards are answered from the angels that are making reciprocally Duas for you, this is finanically helping others by giving Sadaqah and making the Niyyah for marriage which is very important when putting the sadaqah into jar or box. Make sure this is done every day even if its only a penny as Sadaqah again focus and makes niyyah for spouse to enter into yours lives. As the doors of Sadaqah is a Shield from Balah-Problems, and 70 Problems will attack you everyday, this is the Shield for that (then donate this money once it has become enough to someone in need or Islamic cause) see link Sadaqah is a Shield from Balah-trials/problems, 70 Problems will attack you everyday.

The Benefits of Surah Yasin (36)

1. The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, 'Surely everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur'an is Yasin. I would love that it be in the heart of every person of my people'[Bazzar]. (S.Muhammad Ali Sabuni, Tafsir-al-SabuniVol.2)

2. The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, 'Whoever recites Yasin once Allah will record the reward of reciting the Qur'an ten times.'[Maqal, Tirmidhi 2812/A & Dhahabi]

3. It has been reported by Aisha (radiAllahu anha)that the Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said that there is a surah in the Qur'an that intercedes for itsreciter and forgive its listener. Know! It is Surah Yasin. It is called 'Mu'amma' in the Torah. It was enquired, what is Mu'amma? The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, 'it embraces the person with the goodness of this world and removes the dismay of the Hereafter'[Hashiya of Tafsir Jalalalayn , pg 368].

4. The Prophet said, 'Whoever recited Surah Yasin in the night seeking Allah's pleasure, Allah would forgive him'[Ibn Hibban, Darimi 3283/A, Abu Yala, Tabarani, Baihaqi & Ibn Mardawaih]

5. Ma`qil ibn Yasar (Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, his family, companions, andfollowers) said,"Ya Sin is the heart of the Qur'an. No one reads it intending thereby Allah and the Next Abode except that Allah forgives them. Recite it for your deceasedones." [Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i (this wording is his), and Hakim, who deemed it rigorously authenticated (sahih)]

6. Imam Ghazali explained that this is because soundness of faith rests on acknowledging Resurrection and Judgment, and Surat Ya Sin details this in the most emphatic of ways. Imam Fakhr al-Din al-Razi concurred.

7. Imam Tibi explained in his commentary on Mishkat al-Masabih that Surat Ya Sin was called 'the Heart of the Qur 'an ' because of what it contains of overwhelming proofs, decisive signs, subtle spiritual meanings, eloquent admonition, and stern warnings.

8."Whosoever recites Surah Yasin in the early part of the day his needs will be fulfilled." (Mishkaat, Page 189)
